I absolutely LOVE living on Cape Cod year 'round!
Perhaps I feel so strongly about it because it reminds me of the halcyon days of my youth as a barefoot kid with a bamboo fishing pole in Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn. I have certainly been "hooked" on waterfront communities ever since.
I built my first sailboat from my own set of plans and rigged it with the help of historic sailmakers Ratsey and Lapthorn on the waterfront community of City Island. I graduated from Columbia University on an island called Manhattan. I started in real estate in Stony Brook, on Long Island. I have fished, gone scuba diving, boating, sailing and kayaking all over the world. And today, while others seek the glory of the setting sun on the distant horizon, I look down. There I find enchanting shades of baby blue, deep purple and blazing golden, orange-red alive and sparkling at my feet on the very beaches where the Mayflower pilgrims once walked. And each time, I am enraptured by a Cape Cod sunset, as if it's my first.
